Janie has a BA Degree from the University of Oklahoma in Speech Pathology and Master's Studies at the University of Mississippi.  She and her husband Woody have been married 45 years and have two adult sons, Wilson and Ramsey.  Her hobbies are sailing, gardening, traveling and taking care of their Corgi and two cats.  She is a graduate of Leadership Germantown, the Germantown Chamber Board Chairman in 2011, a member of the Rotary of Memphis East, President of her homeowner's association, and on the Board of the Memphis Oral School for the Deaf.

Sandy Rhodes came to the Chamber in July of 2005 from the Homewood Suites hotel. Previous to that, she spent 10 years as a substitute teacher at Southwind Elementary, Germantown Elementary and Germantown Middle School. She was born in Alabama, and later moved to Memphis with her family in 1972. She and her husband, John, live in Germantown. Sandy is a graduate of The University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Myra Sellers is the newest member of the Chamber staff, arriving in August, 2010. Her previous positions include Program Manager for Memphis in May International Festival, Tour & Events Manager – Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum and Morale, Welfare & Recreation Supervisor – Zone 6 Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The El Dorado, Arkansas native is a University of Memphis graduate and proudly admits her blood runs Razorback Red and Tiger Blue!

Susan Volmer joined the Chamber as Office Manager in March, 2006. She was transferred to Memphis from Chicago by Holiday Inns, Inc. where she worked in sales and marketing and managed their trade show program. Since joining the Chamber staff, Susan served as the Program Director for Leadership Germantown, and is currently on it’s Board of Directors. She is also a graduate of the Leadership Germantown Class of 2009. She and her husband, Mike, have lived in Germantown since 1990.
