"Come To Our Cabaret" 

is this year's theme for the Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Dinner Gala being held on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at The Esplanade.  Cocktails will begin at 6:30 pm followed by a seated dinner at 7:30 pm.

Entertainment will be provided by Terry Reeves of Hicks Convention Services and Special Events.

Charlie McCraw, President of First Tennessee Bank will present the Small Business of the Year Award to two outstanding business members of the Chamber.  

Bob & Gail Dorband, Germantown News, will present the Large Business of the Year Award to an outstanding large business member of the Chamber.

The 2008 Ambassador of the Year Award winner will be announced and presented as well during the evening program. 

More information on these award-winning companies and individuals will be in the new edition of the Germantown Magazine available at the Chamber office - 2195 S. Germantown Road and on the Chamber website in 2009.

A Fond Farewell to our Chairman of the Board...

Steve Veesart whose leadership as Chairman of the Board for the Chamber of Choice will come to a close with the passing of the gavel to Amy Barringer of Baptist Rehabilitation Germantown.

A video presentation, “Reflections of 2008,” a fun look back at Chamber events from this last year will remind us of the many great social/networking opportunities of the year as well as old and new friends.

Finally, the evening will end with the unvailing of the 2009 Germantown Magazine by MM Graphics. Chamber Ambassadors will be on hand to pass out the first copies to Gala guests.
